About the Author

Picture
Michael Erb is a scientist and writer.  He’s currently working with Kelvin to document the weather detective’s cases.  He grew up in North Carolina, where he spent his time riding his bike, doing arts and crafts with his sister, and wondering about the world.  Why, he wondered, is the sky blue?  How do planes fly?  How do radios work?  The answers to these questions led him to the joys of scientific investigation.  He is now a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Southern California, having also conducted research at the University of Texas at Austin and Rutgers University.  As a researcher, he gets to ask bigger questions and conduct experiments to try to answer them.  He currently studies the climate of the past two thousand years.  While daydreaming, he occasionally takes trips back to the ice ages, but wouldn’t want to live there.
